Build the agent that runs the business.

Build the agent that runs the business.

We build voice-AI that gives everyday people an empathetic experience when they call the businesses they rely on — starting with personal injury firms. A lean, agent-native team that loves doing the hard things, and we’re hiring.

What we’re building and why

AI for the little guy.

We’re at the start of a K-shaped economy — the inflection between the haves and the have-nots of AI. The Palantirs of the world will deploy AI for the biggest enterprises. But what about your neighborhood community bank? Your family’s law firm? Your best friend’s auto shop? Gideon bridges that gap.

We’re starting with personal injury firms — one of the most fragmented markets in the US — building AI that gives an empathetic experience to the everyday folks who call PI firms for help with their problems.

We keep the team extremely lean, on purpose. The platform so far was built by the founders working with a fleet of coding agents in closed, self-improving loops, on the back of one of the largest pre-seed rounds in voice AI. We love doing the hard things.

This is our current best thinking, not stone tablets. When it stops matching reality, we change it — and anyone here can propose that change.

Who thrives here (and who doesn’t)

We hire excellent people and give them context instead of control. That only works if it fits how you operate. Be honest with yourself reading this.

You’ll thrive here if you

✳ Take ownership without being asked — and finish things.

✳ Are direct, and can take directness back without flinching.

✳ Want a high bar, and feel uncomfortable when work is mediocre.

✳ Are happy without a lot of process, structure, or hand-holding.

You’ll struggle here if you

· Need clear instructions and predictable routines to do your best work.

· Avoid conflict, or read candid feedback as an attack.

· Wait to be told what to do.

Neither list is a judgment about your worth — plenty of brilliant people fit a different kind of company. We’re describing a fit, not a hierarchy.

One non-negotiable: no brilliant jerks. Talent does not buy a pass on how you treat people. And the reverse is just as true — being kind doesn’t excuse a low bar.

The six commandments

Our values — and what they look like in practice.

The second half of each is the part that matters — it’s where good intentions go to get tested.

01

Honesty

Keep it real

We say the real thing, early, to the person’s face — not the polished version later to someone else. The one the other five depend on.

Looks like: Kind, direct, now. Saying “I don’t know.” Surfacing bad news fast.

Doesn’t: Telling people what they want to hear. Venting sideways.

02

Honey badger

Will through walls

When there’s no obvious path, we find one — under, over, or through. Relentless and resourceful, not reckless.

Looks like: Hearing “that’s not possible” and finding the way it is. Three “no”s deep and still going.

Doesn’t: Stopping at the first blocker. (Through walls, never through people.)

03

Document everything

If it’s not written, it doesn’t exist

Memory is not a system. Decisions and context live in writing where anyone can find them — not trapped in one head or buried in a DM.

Looks like: Writing the decision down and where it lives. A doc over a meeting.

Doesn’t: Key context that only exists in someone’s memory. “We discussed this somewhere.”

04

Customer is always right

Even when they’re wrong

We start from the customer’s reality, obsessed with their actual problem — not blindly building the literal thing they asked for when it won’t solve it.

Looks like: Solving the real need, not the proxy they described. Disagreeing and delivering.

Doesn’t: Order-taking our way into building the wrong thing beautifully.

05

Winning

The only thing that matters

Winning means fulfilling the mission and delivering outcomes — further and faster than anyone thinks possible. Not OKR theater. Ask constantly: are we winning?

Looks like: Outcomes over process. Tearing up the roadmap when reality changes.

Doesn’t: Confusing motion with progress. Winning at a teammate’s expense.

06

Growth mindset

We are behind, always be learning

We assume we’re behind, because we are. Not anxiety — fuel. Expertise is perishable; the day you think you’ve arrived is the day you start falling behind.

Looks like: Asking for feedback and changing because of it. “I was wrong — here’s what I learned.”

Doesn’t: Defending a position to protect your ego. “I already know this.”

How we work

How we make decisions

→ Most decisions are reversible — bias to action. Don’t call a meeting to choose a font.

→ For the few that are hard to undo, slow down and get more input.

→ Disagree-and-commit: argue hard, then get fully behind the call even if you lost the argument.

→ Not sure a decision is yours to make? The answer is usually yes — make it, and over-communicate.

Feedback & the honest part

→ Feedback is continuous, not saved up for a review cycle.

→ We praise in public and give corrective feedback in private.

→ What gets you ahead: raising the bar, owning hard problems, making the team better — not hours logged.

→ What gets you let go: a sustained low bar, or treating people badly. Quick and kind, not slow and resentful.

Open roles

There are exactly three kinds of Gideon.

No layers, no handoffs — just the brains (Geeky), the builder (Hacky), and the closer (Saul). Find yours.

Geeky Gideon

Research Engineer — Voice AI

Product Team · Full-time · Remote

Make machine conversation feel human — measure where it breaks, then train the models that close the gap.

Hacky Gideon

AI Engineer / Forward-Deployed Engineer

Product Team · Full-time · Remote

Turn a customer’s messy, human workflow into a voice-AI system that runs it flawlessly, end to end.

Saul Gideon

Founding GTM / BDR

Go-to-Market · Full-time · Remote (US hours)

Find the businesses that live on the phone, earn the meeting, run the pilot, and turn it into a yes.

The deal

We ask a lot: ownership, candor, a high bar, your best work. In return we owe you context, honesty about how you’re doing, real responsibility early, and a team of people worth learning from. That’s the deal.

If it sounds like the place you want to spend your days — welcome. Let’s build something worth being proud of.
